ASH VERSUS BARNEY
"Ash versus Barney" is a fictional work that is in no way associated with the makers of the Evil Dead films or with the Barney children's show. The black and white version has been available on this site for over a decade and in 2008, the "colored pencil" version was added, along with a brand new remastered version. "Ash versus Barney" was originally to appear on "BC CENTRAL", Bruce Campbell's official web site. However, it's too violent.
The biggest thrill of making this comic was when Jan Holbrook, the president of BC CENTRAL gave the comic to Bruce Campbell and he mailed it back to me autographed. Here's what he wrote:
Groovy! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the comic. And for those of you who don't know, the "FOX executives" were the guys who canceled Brisco County Junior, probably one of the coolest shows ever on TV.
